5-6:30 PM PST

Did you know most nursing programs require a 90% or higher on dosage calculations,

often with only 2 attempts to pass...

OR you fail the semester!

I created this bootcamp because I don’t want one high-stakes exam to cost you time, money, or confidence.

You’ll learn dimensional analysis, the simplest and most foolproof way to solve dosage calculations, in just ONE weekend!

Bootcamp Schedule

SATURDAY

8:30 AM PST

Understand the Problem and Set it Up

Learn how to figure out what the question is asking, choose the information you need, and set up the problem step by step first with unit conversions.

9:00 AM

Tablets, Liquids, and Injections

Practice finding how many tablets, capsules, or milliliters (mL) of medication to give.

9:40 AM

Break

Take a quick break for your brain to recharge and take in all the information. Gather up any questions that you have had so far to be able to ask toward the end.

9:47 AM

Weight-Based and More Difficult Problems

Practice pounds to kilograms, mg/kg problems, per day versus per dose, divided doses, and problems with more than one step.

10:30 AM

Questions and Next Steps

Ask questions, review confusing problems, and learn what to practice before Sunday’s optional Practice Lab.

Next Day

SUNDAY

12:30 PM PST

Practice Lab (optional)

This practice lab provides the opportunity to ask questions and review more practice problems. It's a great time to review any questions that still trouble you.

Nurse Karla, MSN, RN, CHC

Hey there! I’m Karla, an RN and nurse educator. I created this bootcamp because the same simple strategies that helped me finally understand and remember difficult nursing concepts have now helped thousands of nursing students do the same. My goal is to make dosage calculations feel less overwhelming, so you can actually understand what you’re doing and walk into your exam with confidence.
